Calmond Valley Expands into Middle East Markets
We are proud to announce new distribution partnerships in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, bringing premium California almonds to buyers across the Middle East.
A New Chapter in Global Expansion
Calmond Valley is pleased to announce the formal establishment of distribution partnerships across three key Middle Eastern markets: the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. These partnerships mark a significant milestone in our strategy to bring premium California almonds to the world's fastest-growing almond import regions.
The Middle East represents one of the most dynamic food import markets globally. Rising incomes, a young and health-conscious population, and strong cultural traditions around nut consumption make this region an ideal fit for the Calmond Valley product range.
Our New Distribution Partners
After an extensive evaluation process, we have selected partners who share our commitment to quality, reliability, and long-term market development:
UAE — A Dubai-based food distribution group with reach across hypermarkets, specialty grocers, and hotel supply chains throughout the Emirates.
Saudi Arabia — A Riyadh-headquartered importer with established relationships across the Kingdom's modern trade and food service sectors.
Egypt — A Cairo-based distributor with a strong presence in Egypt's growing premium grocery segment and export corridors into North Africa.
Product Range
Our Middle East partners will carry our full range of California almonds, including raw natural, blanched whole, roasted salted, sliced, and slivered formats, packaged to meet local regulatory and labeling requirements. All products are accompanied by full quality certification documentation, including our GlobalG.A.P. and SQF certificates.
Halal Certification
All Calmond Valley almonds exported to Middle Eastern markets are supplied with Halal certification documentation, ensuring compliance with import requirements across the region. Our facility and supply chain practices have been reviewed and approved by an accredited Halal certification body.
Looking Ahead
We view the Middle East as a long-term strategic market. Over the next three years, we plan to deepen our product presence, introduce private-label supply programs for regional retail chains, and explore direct participation in regional food trade shows. We look forward to building lasting partnerships that bring the quality of California almonds to consumers across the Arab world.
